Maalaea Bay near Kihei on Maui is right next to the Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge. During the fall months until spring you may be able to catch a Humpback Whale frolicking in the water though it is too early in the seasonf or us to glimpse one on this trip. The Maui Ocean Center (which we will see later) and the Maalaea Harbor are nearby.
