Destination visited: Switzerland Activities included: Cultural Tours, Mountain Climbing, Nature Observation

Switzerland... wow! it was a romantic story... I´was there looking for someone... a very special person who I knew in New York 1 year before. I decided to visit him to know all about this country and people, very very special...

And ... I found a lovely people there. I had a different idea about swiss people, cold and hardworking people. But close to Zurich in Aesch, a very special family show me how lovely they are and how you could find friends there with a big heart... really big heart.

At the first time when I arrived there in

It was December 1999, before christmas time, lots of people in the streets, buying the gifts, and you can see all special things related to Christmas, details such as candles, lights, a Christmas train in Banhoffstrasse, a religious chorus in Grossmunster church.

In the modern times, &yactue;ou can find simple people, making a special cookies for Christmas, waiting the Christmas day to share with the family, not worries about the big gifts, just little details. You can breath in the air the love family.

I have to thank to a very special family there (Otto and Edith Furrer). They invited me to their home just to share with them a simple cup of chocolate in the morning, or just to talk about love and life everyday in the evening.

They gave to me much more than I though, and I will always remember them and love them.

Additional Notes

Visit wonderful places such as Maienfeld (Heidi's mountain). Everything is related with Heidi's story, you can see the Heidi way to the mountain, and you can see the beautiful sight from the mountain.

Besides, who can resist to visit places (in Zurich) and you can smell the chocolates in the streets? Really, in fact! Swiss chocolates, the best ones...

Finally, wherever you are there, you can see the Swiss Alps, what a great peace feeling !

Really, it's one of the best places to take a relax, and just to be one in the middle of the the nature.
