Big Surf: Sebastian Steudtner takes the bomb of the year!

 

Once is not custom, not a Hawaiian surfer and California who shot the biggest wave this year, but a German rider. There are lots of surfers in Germany even if they are not lucky enough to live in front of class spots. We already knew Marlon Lipke who qualified last year for the elite of professional surfing. The Billabong XXL Awards have just revealed the world of surfing the big wave rider Sebastian Stouter .

Sebastian Steudtner did not train to ride the wave of artificial river Eisbach in Munich but in Hawaii, where he travels every year since he was 16. The young surfer from Nuremberg was not afraid


 
of big waves and he trains all year specifically for the big surf as you can see from this You Tube video. He looks closely at the cards weather surfing on the Internet to be there when the most massive fall swells.

On December 7, 2009 , he was well on the spot in Maui Jaws to take on a surfboard towed one of the biggest ever surfed the left at a phenomenal rate in the nose and beard of experienced surfers as Laird Hamilton , of course, this date then. The wave of Sebastian is estimated at 66 feet, or more than 20 meters!
