Weather of Hawaii: A destination for all seasons
Hawaii is really a destination for all seasons, with little variation in climate. Recognizes only two seasons: kau (high sun from May to August) and hoo-yl (low sun from September to April). However, the low sun season is high season, especially those fleeing the U.S. winter. Hotel rates are cheaper from April until late November, although the cool breezes avoid the sweltering heat in summer.
