Food is an important part of Hawaiian culture. We have a variety of local food. Food is popular Hawaiian Poke, Poi, Laulau, Lomi Salmon, and haupia. They are foods that began here.
Local food has no origins are Hawaiian Chicken Katsu Loco Moco (rice, hamburger, eggs and gravy) and spam musubi. Because Hawaii has many different cultures, our food is very diverse. A little of our food is influenced by Asian, American, and Hawaiian.
