Christmas in Hawaii
Hawaii is certainly one of the last place to which one thinks of Christmas. But also on the island for Christmas is celebrated.
Specially imported via the Pacific Ocean already weeks before the festival fir, so that the residents of Hawaii do not have to do without the classic Christmas tree. The Christmas festival was brought home by the way in about in 1820 by missionaries to the people of Hawaii.
The highlight of the Hawaiian Christmas festivities are the "Honolulu City Lights", which is organized annually by the municipality of Honolulu. In the Honolulu Hale to be a big Christmas tree
set up and offered numerous programs around Christmas.
