Large parts of the ABC series "Lost" were filmed on Oahu. While many scenes were created in a studio near Honolulu, there are also locations across the island of Oahu.

The series "Lost" begins with the crash of the aircraft and the survivors gather at a beach. This is north of Oahu and is Mokule'ia Beach.
