Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson was born in Oahu, Hawaii, in 1975, before turning to music was one of the best young surfers in the world. His career was cut short when a giant wave that nearly killed him, forced him to quit the competition at age 17.
Released from his latest album, "Sleep through the Static", highlight the songs "Angel" and "Hope", but certainly more rounded work to date has been "In Between Dreams"
In an interview with The New York Times "said that" In Between Dreams "came from the disappointment he felt in 2004 when George W. Bush was reelected president.
