Lumahai Beach
This beach was made famous in the sand to filming the movie "South Pacific". The road to the beach is not easy to find and can be slippery, but the views of the beach and the waves breaking against the rocks surrounding is exceptional. Made of lava rocks scattered around the mouth of the beach, make the water has a cascading effect and to enter back into the soil. The beach itself is a big long stretch of sand, with a typical appearance of order.

As positive points to visit this beach, despite the problems of being able to bathe, we have a really wonderful scene, a stunning sand and shady areas, a freshwater stream on the same beach. The disadvantages are that there is no supervision or services to the public.
This beach is ideal if you want to get away from everything and everyone, whether with your partner, family or alone. It is a perfect place to take a book, a camera or video, your favorite music, and simply enjoy your surroundings. Go by the time you go, possibly the greatest number of people you see, does not exceed a dozen.
Like most beaches that we can find in Hawaii, we will find our paradise in any of these little pockets, and this beach can certainly one of them.
Where do I stay and where to eat?
There are no housing resources or places to eat in Lumahai beach, so if we stay all day, it is best for us to get what we will be required to eat and be on the beach. The closest thing we have to lodge is Kauai. Being a completely natural sea state, we must find our own means to reach this beach, either renting a car or someone to take us.
