Every island has something in particular. Oahu is the most inhabited and americanized, but it has the beach Waikiki (although it is dominated by high hills, Sunset and Lanikai are better), and to highly urbanized Honolulu, with his historical center and a refreshing Chinatown. There also there is the famous North Coast, where surfing is practised, and the popular panoramic point Nuuanu Pali where from spectacular conference are obtained on the cliffs splashed with cascades. Nevertheless, it would be a shame to see only Oahu and to think that he has visited Hawaii.

Of everything and for all

Hawaii is not an only one destination, but at least six. Yes, there are six principal islands spread in several hundreds of kilometers. We can imagine it like the Polynesia, but from 1959 it is part of the United States although the above mentioned inclusion did not bring the archipelago over to the continent, and keeps on being five hours in plane from the United States.

Despite being relatively isolated, big report of the culture from Hawaii has disappeared (as most of the ancient inhabitants of Hawaii, a process that began with the heterogeneous crew of Captain Cook, which it infected with different illnesses to the islanders).

Confusedly, what in general believes that Harbor, Waikiki is Hawaii-Pearl, Diamond Head with his surfistas and Honolulu - is in fact in the island Oahu; there is an island called Hawaii, but it is known commonly like Big Island (Isla Grande).

Then: why to go on such an exhausting journey giving average turned to the world? Very well, Hawaii offers the traditional holidays of beach and palm trees, but the same they offer other much more nearby destinations. In Hawaii there join the best walks of the world, volcanoes in eruption that spill the lava to the sea, diving, excellence in surfing and windsurfing in the world level, scenery of truly spectacular mountain, quite wrapped in the North American infrastructure. Although the massive tourism grows year after year, it concentrates often on certain points, leaving the rest of the islands in his virgin state.
