Iolani Barracks, Honolulu

 

The Iolani Barracks true once the headquarters of the Royal Guard of Hawaii. The barracks was built in 1860, led by the German architect Theodore C. Heuck, who is also the Queen's Medical Center and the Royal Mausoleum of Hawaii planned. European influences are reflected in the building. The facade, however, was built with coral stones.
