Kauai is also called the green island - it rains a lot and while it is the oldest of all Hawaiian islands. There are beaches for every taste - for the activists, the families or the sun Badenen.

I was in February 2009 on Kauai and I can watch me all kinds of beaches. Here is a selection of them.

1) Kekaha Beach Wide and long family beach with high waves in winter and good Pciknickplatzen. It upset the locals, nozzle with their jeep on the beach.

2) Salt Pond Beach Beautiful beach with snorkeling

3) Kalalau Beach Bech these can only be achieved after the 11 miles long march "Kalalau

4) Hanalei Beach Park

Who the movie "South Pacific" knows, knows this beach. Great views and excellent conditions for swimmers characterize this beach.

5) Lydgate State Park

Here You can camp and enjoy the installations specially designed conditions for swimmers. Picnic areas, playground and lawn area make it the perfect beach for families.
